Sea Barrier, Fish Landings Hadaibo, Socotra
Project’s Brief
The project consists of a long sea barrier, reaching 123,30 meters, that is parallel to the sea and has a width of 3,7m starting from the sea edge and reaching the inner face of the barrier. The sea barrier stops the water from entering the Fish landing complex in Hodaibo, Socotra. The sear barrier consists of a stone bed in addition to a reinforced concrete wall extended along the barrier, except around the entrance. The work includes stacking of stones into 3 layers that weigh between 50 to 300 kg, in order to break the sea waves and protect the Fish
