Socotra Archipelago is considered as one of poorest governorates in term of general utilities speci cally the potable water.
The residents in Qalansiyah are in high need to increase the production of potable water. Accordingly, the Saudi Reconstruction and
Development program has participated in solving this challenge through the design and execution of two wells in Qalansiyah with all
the needed infrastructure subsequent to the approval and coordination of the local authority in Socotra Archipelago.
The project is about digging two wells in Qalansiyah, along with all the needed infrastructure to connect it to the main water lines.
