We are pleased to announce the start of construction works for the Al Wathba Slaughterhouse Cold Storage Expansion Project in Abu Dhabi, delivered by Infra Construction in partnership with STBM for the Abu Dhabi Municipality. The project marks another step toward enhancing service facilities and strengthening infrastructure that supports the food security ecosystem in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Our technical teams have officially commenced on-site activities, including site preparation, safety setup, excavation, and initial groundwork, paving the way for the next phases of construction in line with the approved project schedule. The scope of the project includes the construction of new steel structure buildings, featuring the following: Expansion of the existing meat cold storage facility. Expansion of the ticketing area and public hall. Development of a new dedicated meat cooling zone.

These upgrades form part of an integrated development plan aimed at improving operational efficiency and enhancing the overall functionality of the facility.

The project is scheduled to be completed within six months, with execution carried out according to the highest engineering and construction standards to ensure quality, reliability, and operational performance.
