In the joyful presence of the Somaliland government Ethiopian Airlines launched its first flight to Berbera International Airport, with the funding of Berbera International Airport Company in cooperation with Infra Construction Group represented in its regional office in the UAE.
Finished a complete rehabilitation of the airport, which includes comprehensive maintenances works for passenger terminal and its related facilities, including interior and exterior finishing works and construct the IT surveillance, service halls, support services and sound systems, as well as the control tower building and the GSE facilities. to ensure the full performance of the airport
We are so proud to be a part of such a huge project which is considered as the largest airport in Somaliland and the longest runway in Africa with a length of not less than 4.27 km. this will return the map of air transport to eastern and southern Africa.
